            Good grief to you man. You make my day! Don’t worry, heaven will not send you fire and brimstone on your rabid belief of Reproductive Health Bill Rights in whatever way you do it.  Your protest was valid as you were merely ventilating your stand over the raging issue  of the day. The unperturbed and solemnity of the faces of  Bps. Gaudencio Rosales, Bacani most importantly including Archbp. Joseph Adams as captured in a photo by the Philippine Star  inside the Cathedral have shown them all empathizing and respecting you that  right.  Only you did it at the wrong place and in the wrong time.  But even then your advocacy was still explainable. Only that you shouted thus giving the authorities convenient excuse really of goading you out and detaining you in  a jail. Even then, you make us many of your converts as you seemed to have enjoyed the ride standing tall and unshaken in your belief  even emboldened you more holding on to your primal belief that such incident didn’t even diminish your being a true blue blooded Catholic albeit nominal.

Apparently, the incident was  no big deal actually.  Your P6,000.00 bail bond for temporary release  is mere peanuts.  To think that you should  even be rewarded with an excommunication is farfetched.  It’s better to be brave and honest defending all the way  which side you stand and believe in than none at all. Worst, change your color depending on the weather surrounding the issue. It’s all what our heroes and martyrs did in the past from Rizal to Gomburza from Ninoy to many  other countless  faceless brave souls. Jesus Christ Himself showed us the way how to live  by  giving His own  life on the cross so that we will all live forever. It’s no mean feat to be true but that’s the only way to do it. Or you become its opposite, a faceless individual whose  struggle would be a sham consigned to the dustbin of history.

 There’s  really nothing wrong with being consistent as it implies  honesty, bravery, zest and  that rare great and implacable resolve in turn giving such other laudable traits as passion, industry and creativity. Indeed, what a beautiful world ours would     have  been if all specially our leaders are consistent practicing what they preach – Atheists living without God, Communists practicing perfect socialist state, terrorists killing their own ranks etc. Prison cell would probably no longer needed  and now would have been abolished had each one do their own thing not messing up over the issue ramming down to the throat of innocent people. But did we. No and never instead we are vent on destroying life that precious gift given by God that would have been protected instead tinkered with malicious agenda like RHB.

And yes the Church did respecting the primal belief of the sanctity of life over the centuries. Leaders may change but her stand would remain  the same. Why mess up  with that belief when that’s the very reason why we’re in this world in the first place. Resurrection as we all know is the heart of Christianity.  And how can you profess to be a Christian when you believe in abortion squeezing right to death the unborn right in the womb of their mother.  Yes, the survey quoted for having registered overwhelming favor for reproductive Health Bill might have really say so. But how could really they qualify calling themselves Christian if they don’t respect God who gave that life in the first place. The result in other words is simply suspect.  Better they examine their conscience if at all they have one  for it appears that they are soul-less.

As to PNOY’s  stand. Never mind how unpopular and that he has already bitten the bullet.  To his credit, that has also been consistently his stand over the issue even before election. You can’t just condemn a fellow with warped belief over issue he messed up as variable pushing up economy of  the nation.  He should do his own homework however and should not just accept whatever Uncle Sam wants. Past presidents have opted on the sanctify of life and why couldn’t he. For all he knows, his’ and his group of communicators are barking the wrong tree. How could he  claim in the first place that Reproductive Health Bill is all the answer when you have to tinker life for you to deliver it. The means just don’t justify the end. Cory and Ninoy must have goosebumps and suffering nosebleeds have they been alive today.  Yes, they would soon be waking up from their grave knowing that their only beloved son and namesake went wild and berserk pushing that malevolent agenda whose infamy was already repeatedly buried in the past.

PNOY, Celdran and RHB apologists should re-study back the issue to get enlightenment and have reality check. Much has been written about it and so far they have withstand and weather the storm against the value of life. PNOY’s call for ceasefire is understandable. First, we can’t force the issue to him and those in authority because health care package is part of the deal of the windfall arising from the Military Bases Agreement with US. They should know because RHB is a Trojan Horse of US, that spiteful agenda concocted  to us by Uncle Sam in their desire of lowering down world population in the next decade. The plan of  lowering down the increase of population to 2.4% growth rate is irrelevant as overall in Asia is ours is the lowest. To quote from an earlier write-ups over the issue “even our 313  average persons per square km is the lowest in the region compare to  Singapore, Taiwan, Hongkong and South Korea. Those who have aggressively pursued family planning like Singapore and Thailand are now in fact regretting  due to rapid aging of population and scarcity of manpower.”

 How about squatters proliferating under the bridge as shown by video footage and  as family planning proponent like social scientist Mercedes Concepcion raised. They are the result of an erroneous of at least three decades of countryside and rural development, respected  economist Villegas clarified. That’s the problem we have in 1950 when we already had the headstart as the most developed economy in the Region with an exception of Japan. Yes sir development specially of rural area is the best contraceptive. “There’s just no need to inflict these problems on future generations,” Villegas concluded. Need to say more.

Caloy Celdran might be an excellent tour guide in Manila as he has that crack in exploring all possible means in driving home his message to tourists using various forms of communication from theater to graphics, entertainment and  other mass media facilities but no way he’s a good promoter and defender of life.  Never mind his being a nominal Catholic, one that does not practice his faith and defends the sanctity of life, he should give himself benefits of his doubt. Reality check of the issue would definitely of great help and do him and minions good. There’s no beef here and nothing to grind against Caloy. Many other gentlemen have done similar antics minus the placard in raising the issue specially when the clergy spruce up their homilies with politics. Panginlabot, not panghilabot as Msgr. Rey Monsanto would say it.Why really not when life is all that matters.
