No Deal to US Military Aid and Out with Reproductive Health Bill

This article is a sequel to not so very long time ago related piece “Trojan Horse Runs Wild and Galloping No More” I wrote which appeared on the other paper at the height of  Reproductive Health Bill controversy then hotly debated in the floor of the House of Representatives  sponsored by Cong. Neric Acosta and Rep. Bella Angara Castillo.
The title of that  article basically explained the status of that bill. As a  collaboration between Fr. Joe Sweghmann, SSJV and this writer with the good and  concerned father providing me necessary data he culled from internet and other sources with me developing it for general reading public, we were elated when it died its natural death before it reaches succeeding reading in Congress and Senate. We were truly happy and  blessed learning that our efforts  with the rest of concerned Catholics in the diocese of Cagayan de Oro was vindicated.  We were simply glad that  Reproductive Health Bill runs wild as it was mangled even before it could take off  its mad dash.
The battle line formed was probably formidable indicating that Filipinos in general are not ready accepting it. The Bill was plainly too foreign, a poison about to be rammed down to the throat of gullible Filipinos by the  West, Fr. Sweghmann noted. It was a malevolent agenda too concocted  what with children allowed in exploiting their sexuality at an early age notwithstanding the solid stand of  parents against immorality .  That they could be even be sent  to jail by their own children at the slightest provocation all the more was sending wrong message
As it happened, the celebration was premature as succeeding events would soon  overtake said bill this time far more menacing and spiteful. Hence, we we’re wrong in our second assumption as the Trojan Horse would soon really  gallop in  Congress and Senate when pro-Reproductive Health Bill rallied for its adoption and approval. But thanks that it lost its steam before it could summon enough supporters and votes and thus was relegated in the sidelines and in the background  when pro-lifers lawmakers doused its passage with cold water.
Until suddenly  resurrected itself back today as one agenda  for consideration and discussion. Here we go again. I’m writing this article then from memory and as reflection on my stand on the issue. Apparently, it’s direct but that’s the way to do it if we are to face the issue or we suffer the more of its collateral damage the issue  will bring us.
Here’s the catch if you’d like that the celebration over the proposed nasty bill secured and continued. Want to have no debate on Reproductive Health Bill in both Houses of Representative and Senate? Then take your moral stand and vote for the  No-deal against the US Military Aid to the country. But that is tough and easier said than done, one our lawmakers would hardly resort into unless they too would help squeezing to death our country’s economy and probably affecting also their respective pork barrel.  That makes your choice  a stalemate. How to resolve that situation  now becomes  the problem.
Reproductive Health Bill as we all know is part of the Trojan Horse offered by US Govt. through its subtle  Military aid to its allied countries in the world with the overriding goal  of limiting  the world population down to manageable level, a fact many countries affected are now griping losing replacement for their career workers  at the same time threatening the labor force as their older population becomes disproportionate to the demand of workers resulting from the practice  of abortion and one-child policy. True enough, the deal is an  infamous option  in that nations receiving  those windfall are put in a fix without ever knowing it  or if ever they do, is too late  rectifying the lapses committed.
In sum, the brains  behind  Reproductive Health Bill is promoting New Pantheism or Babism. It is such a unique religion bordering on extreme environmental concern, highly progressive women empowerment, sexual promiscuity and worst of them all,  atheism. Just how serious US are promoting this agenda through United Nation could be seen who are calling the shots and who  its donors were.  No less than Ted Turner, that CNN Mogul is one of its hearty sponsor. Add the Bilderberg gang with Henry Kissinger calling the shots doing the dirty work concocting Brave New World. And it’s how they do it never mind  cutting  the process short bypassing United Nations for as long as they get the support, participation and sympathy of those who  have similar agenda.
It’s definitely a deal hard to refuse  against as receiving countries are caught in the dilemma as they have been there receiving regularly their  military aid.. But what made such deal doubly scandalous is its attack on religion specifically Catholics because for them  Catholicism is a losing religion. How so? Probably they relate their observation to those countries with low economic standing  mostly countries embracing Catholicism as Latin American countries where people wallow in extreme economic difficulties. But is this really  so? Definitely not as Fr. Francis Madigan, SJ would answer that observation I recalled raising the issue. Similarly,  as Martin Weber proved that protestant ethics led to the Rise of Capitalism in Europe during Industrial Revolution. There’s just no correlation therefore implying the presence of other intervening variables depending the culture of the people in the case of Weber’s theory, acquisitiveness and cohesiveness of early Calvinists.
The same results are  vindicated by recent studies.  There’s just no connection between large population and poverty many studies by economists would show. Besides it’s so easy to squeezed those  countries’ economy dry by not paying their due to banking institutions who are providing them loans reason that calling for  debt cap does not always stand.
Arguably, the key here  is power of choice by our legislators. But how knowledgeable are they with the issue. And if they take the moral choice, what’s the coping mechanism that would be maintain our survival. That’s their homework. They’re there because of our votes hopefully to take the cudgel for us.  When they do, we would be at peace and happy. Legislators, your votes will settle the issue.
